Shoba is a highly experienced facilitator and consultant, with more than 15 years’ worth of experience in the field of creativity and innovation. She is a Certified Competent Facilitator (CCF), Scrum Master and CTI trained coach. In addition to her consulting and facilitation work, she has delivered numerous speeches in creativity and innovation.
Shoba specialises in running organisation retreats and strategy offsites; working with the leadership and their teams to solve complex problems and chart a strategy for the future. To do so, she employs a variety of facilitation tools and principles which include MG Taylor, Agile / Design Thinking methodologies. She joined the Openfield community in 2014 to contribute and sharpen her expertise in collaborative design.
More recently, she has been directing part of her energies to upskilling her industry peers: developing experienced and newer trainers into learning facilitators, as well as developing the next generation of process facilitators. Shoba complements her work in the commercial world with academic engagements by supporting university level programmes for working adults at Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS); and is also an Associate Educator with Institute of Adult Learning, Singapore.
